Hi, I’m Jeff Gehrke.
Thank you for being here.
For many years, I painted quietly. I created for myself—sometimes out of joy, sometimes out of struggle, and often out of a need I couldn’t quite name. I would finish a piece, stack it in a pile, and move on to the next. It was never about recognition; it was about the process. Art became my way of breathing through the hard moments and celebrating the quiet ones. It has been deeply personal, and deeply healing.
Then something shifted.
I began to feel that this work, born from such honest places, shouldn't remain hidden. The colors, the forms, the emotions—they’re not just mine anymore. I believe art has the power to connect, to speak across silence, to comfort, to heal. And if my work has brought me that kind of peace and clarity, maybe it can do the same for someone else. Maybe even for you.
So I’m sharing it now. Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real.
